Hey, it's Ethan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Piston SR bike rack and how it fits on our 2022 Nissan Frontier. We have our setup on the crossbars of our bed rack here, and it's gonna mount to the bottom using these clamps, as well as a couple of bolts. So it's gonna be on our HD bars, but it is also gonna be able to work on your factory elliptical crossbars as well, and round bars if you pick up the adapter. So let's check it out. If you wanna carry your bikes with your Nissan Sentra, I know your options are kind of limited. I highly recommend, if you can, getting a hitch receiver than getting a hitch-mounted biker rack but that can't always be the case for you. In that case, you may want either a trunk mounted bike rack, or a roof mounted bike rack. Trunk mounts, you lose access to your trunk. Roof mounts, it's a lot easier to use, it's more streamlined and you can leave it on your car. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at how the Yakima HighSpeed Roof Mounted Bike Rack fits on the 2019 Nissan Sentra. So for your Nissan Sentra, if you wanna carry your own bikes, your options are limited, especially if you don't have a hitch receiver. You can get your trunk mounted bike rack, but then you lose access to your trunk and you have to deal with straps and clamps and things like that. If possible, and if you have a roof rack system, then I highly recommend getting a roof mounted bike rack as an option. Here, you have two different options, you can get like a wheel mounted bike rack or a fork mounted bike rack. So this has a 40 pound weight capacity, although you are gonna have to consider if you wanna lift a 40 pound bike up onto your roof. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at how the Yakima HighRoad Roof Mounted Bike Rack fits on the 2019 Nissan Sentra. So for your Nissan Sentra, if you want to also go riding, you have limited options for getting a bike onto your car. Now, you can get a hitch receiver and then use hitch mounted bike racks, I highly recommend that option, but if you don't have a hitch, you're then stuck to either a trunk mounted bike rack or a roof mounted bike rack. In that case, I do recommend getting a roof mounted bike rack just because it's not that big of a hassle and it's safe and secure up top. So for roof mounted bike racks, there's usually two options, one is gonna be a fork mounted where you have to take your front wheel off, the other is wheel mount where you can keep your bike as is, just pop it on there. So this has a very interesting way of holding onto your bike, you have that front hold up there, then, you make your adjustments with this back one. more

So for your Nissan Sentra, if you wanna go out riding you have limited options for carrying around your bikes. If possible, please get a hitch receiver and a hitch mounted bike rack but also understand that's not always an option. In that case, you can either get a trunk mounted bike rack and lose access to your trunk and deal with a hassle of straps and clamps or get a roof mounted bike rack. As long as you have a roof rack system this is definitely the better option. So this is gonna be the Inno tyre hold which has your front and your rear wheel mount and we'll talk about how it fits on the Sentra. more

What this is going to do, it's going to allow you to mount your bike to the roof opposed to having a hitch mounted bike rack and also have plenty of space to mount any other cargo that you might be carrying, a roof rack basket or any sort of kayak carrier. You can even slap a couple more of these on there to get multiple bikes on top of your vehicle.This does have two different tie down points for your bike. First you're going to have your front fork faceted into this rack. Then on top of that you have a little wheel cradle back here with a little zip tie style strap with a little bit of rubber boot to protect your wheel from any damage or anything like that.This is going to be able to basically accommodate for any type of roof rack system you have. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Nissan Sentra, we're going to be doing a test fit on the rhino rack xtray pro cargo basket and two bike carrier. That's part number RRRMCB03. I've already got it loaded up on the Sentra on my roof rack system just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes. It's about 58 inches long, about 41 inches wide, and about 5 and a half inches deep. So not only is it going to carry our two bikes, but we're going to have more than enough room to carry gear. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier we're going to be test fitting the Thule Circuit XT Rooftop Bike Rack, part number TH526XT.We already have a bike installed on our rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. How this bike attaches to the rack we're not going to have any frame contact at all. Instead, it's going to grip it by two points. We'll have this rear wheel strap, which is adjustable to length of the bike rack to accommodate for bikes of different sizes, and then up at the front we'll have this skewer mount, which grips your bike by its fork mounts up here. The skewer mount is lockable, and once you install a Thule lock cord to lock it into place and secure it to your bike rack, it actually secures not only the bike, but the bike rack itself to the roof rack. It just goes slightly past the cab of your truck, so it's not going to interfere with much of anything as far as anything you may store in the bed of your truck.Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Today on our 2017 Nissan Maxima we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack MountainTrail rooftop bike carrier, part number RBC035. Now we already have our bike up here and we'll go ahead and show you how it goes on. There's not going to be any frame contact, so you don't have to worry about your bike being scratched. On the rear, we have one wheel strap. To take it off, simply push in on the tab and feed the strap out. Now here on the front we have a cam-style action lever; quick-releases the bike from the skewers, and we can pull it right off. Now I do want to mention that, along with the mounting hardware, where the bikes mounts to the rack, it is fully adjustable so it can accommodate different length bikes. more

Instead, we're going to have this skewer mount here at the front that'll grip your bike by the fork mounts, which you can remove this plastic piece at the end and replace it with a lock. Now, when you actually lock this down, not only will your bike be secured to the rack, your rack will be secured to the roof rack because you cannot remove this bike rack without taking the skewer out. At the rear, we have this wheel strap, which is adjustable along the length of the bike rack to accommodate different size bikes. With the bike rack installed as it is, there's not going to be any issues of clearance between the trunk and bike rack itself, as you can see here. Today on our 2017 Nissan Altima we're going to be test fitting the Rocky Mounts Brass Knuckles Roof Bike Rack, part number RKY1202. We already have a bike installed on our rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. First off how the bike actually attaches to the rack, we're not going to have any frame contact at all. Instead it grips it by three points. We're going to have this padded wheel hook up at the top here, and these points here which gives us its name, the brass knuckles to tighten it down, and then we have these two wheel straps at the front and the rear. The wheel straps are adjustable to their points to fit different sized bikes, and with the bike rack in this current position we're not going to have any clearance issues between the bike rack itself and the trunk as you can see here. Today on our 2016 Nissan Pathfinder we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Rooftop Bike Rack. That part number is RBC035. Now we already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. Here in the back we have a ratcheting strap, it's going to hold out back tire in place. We release this, you'll see that our strap and the buckle for the strap both move up and down the length of our bike rack. Now here at the front we have a locking skewer which is going to secure our forks into place .. We'll step up here and to release that we're going to pull on the black handle and then to tighten it we'll rotate towards the back and loosen it towards the front. more

Inno Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Nissan Versa Note- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Versa Note we are doing a test fit of the Inno Tire Hold Roof-Mounted Bike Rack. That part number is INA389. We already have our bike in place. We're first going to show you how we secured that down, then we will go over some features. At the back and at the front, we're going to have that tire hold. We also have a wheel brace up at the top. It just holds our bike tire down in place. With our back one, it actually has a ratcheting mechanism here at this box. If we have our key there, we can lock our bike in our bike rack safely in place, and not have to worry about theft and tampering. To actually release our bike, we're going to open that box up and push it back. more

Today on this 2012 Nissan Murano, we're going to be testing the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Rooftop Bike Rack, part number RBC035. As you can see, we already have the bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and see how it's attached. You're going to have 2 points of contact here. You're going to have a strap here at the rear at the wheel. You're going to have a skewer and fork mount up here at the front holding the bike down so there's going to be no real frame contact here to your bike. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Rhino Rack Road-Warrior Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Nissan Frontier- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Frontier, we'll be doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Road Warrior Roof Mounted Bike Rack, that's part number RBC036. As you can see I've already got it mounted on top of the Frontier using the Rhino Rack Aero Crossbar Roof Rack, it fits nicely. The bike rack's going to secure our bike in two spots, we've got this rear wheel strap here that just kind of ratchets down and keeps it on the tray. Now on the front, we've got a quick release 9mm skewer. It's real easy to use, just tighten down your lever here, and it kind of locks the fork in over here on the skewer, and then you just clip it in place. As you can see it's nice and secure, and it's not going to go anywhere. Let's go ahead and take the bike off. more

Rhino Rack MountainTrail Roof Bike Racks Review - 2016 Nissan Frontier- Video
Today on our 2016 Nissan Frontier, we'll be doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Mountain Trail Roof Mounted Bike Rack, that's part number RBC035. I've already got it loaded up with a bike on it, just to give you a good idea of what it's going to look like on the Frontier. On the Frontier we're using the Rhino Rack Crossbars, so you can see how the bike rack fits nicely. The bike rack secures our bike in two spots. We have a 9mm skewer up front which allows it to be fork mounted and then we have a rear wheel strap back here. Let's go ahead and get our bike off there. First thing we'll do is come back here to our rear wheel strap, we're just going to press on our button, and remove the strap. more
